TILLEY SOCKS

The ever-present, always-appreciated present that's so popular it's a cliché, no Christmas gift guide would be complete without a pair of socks. You might think that socks aren't anything special but as you can see from all the socks available at sockwellusa.com, there are so many options out there. There are compression socks to help maintain blood flow and reduce discomfort, diabetic socks, and just socks that provide a lot of comfort for the wearer such as your face on socks.

But this year, try something different: the Tilley Walking Sock. Made from soft Merino Wool for a thick, soft footbed, polyester for less blister-inducing friction, spandex to ensure they stay where they should, and nylon for strength, these socks aren't quite so much made as they are engineered specifically for those that plan to spend a long time on their feet. And they work. Having had many a pair, we can say first hand they don't wear out like other socks, nor do they lose their elasticity with time. In fact, they're so stout that Alex Tilley guarantees they'll remain hole-free for 3 years or they'll replace them free of charge! And when it comes time to spend some serious time on your feet, they'll keep you as comfortable as you could possibly be by regulating temperature well and heavily reducing your chances or getting a blister. But perhaps most intriquing is that while they aren't the cheapest socks in the world at $22 a pair (again, keep in mind the gaurantee), the money is at least going to a proudly Canadian company that maintains 100% of their manufacturing in North America; with these socks specifically being made in Iowa.
