Primary Arms is skipping SHOT Show, so you can learn about all its new products online instead

Are you headed to SHOT Show? Probably not. Same goes for most other Canadian shooters (thanks for nothing, COVID-19). The kinda-good news is that Primary Arms isn't going either, and as it's skipping this year's show, it's decided to release all its new products online instead.

As such, Primary Arms' website now has a considerable pile of info on new products, including six new riflescopes. The lineup includes the lightweight, hunting-oriented SLx series of optics. There are 3-9x40mm, 3-9x50mm, 4-12x40mm and 4-12x50mm options in this line. These scopes come with 1-inch tubes, and weigh between 15.3 ounces and 18.5 ounces, depending which model you buy. The website shows each scope with a duplex reticle; we expect more details on this series soon.

There's also a new PLx 1-8x24mm FFP Compact Rifle Scope (FFP = First Focal Plane). It looks like the sort of thing you'd see on a tactical rifle. Primary Arms says this "is a scope made without compromise, combining an ultra-compact lightweight footprint with peerless Japanese E.D. lenses. In every aspect, this scope contends with the absolute best on the market." It weighs 16.95 ounces, has options for ACSS Raptor M8 Yards, ACSS Raptor M8 Meters, and ACSS Griffin MIL M8 reticles, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Keep an eye on this page for more details.

The SLx 1-10x28mm SFP Rifle Scope (SFP = Second Focal Plane) comes with 11 different reticle illumination settings, including night vision compatibility and two Daylight Bright settings. As well, Primary Arms offers specialized ‘M10’ ACSS reticles which adapt to the magnification for optimal performance. This scope is made to be versatile, and again, it appears ready-made for tactical applications. We'll see more details here, soon.

Primary Arms also offers a new 3X Micro Magnifier, with optional ACSS Pegasus reticle. Primary Arms says this "supplements your red dot with an etched ranging ladder to deliver more accurate firing solutions." Clever stuff. It weighs 5.3 ounces, and also has a lifetime warranty.

The new RS10 Reflex Sight is night vision-compatible, and lightweight (only 1.1 ounces). It side-loads a CR2032 battery for easy maintenance, and Primary Arms says it's going to be one of the most affordable lightweight mini reflex sights on the market. More info will show up here, eventually.

There's also the new HE509-RD-ACSS (seen here), with an enclosed emitter (to keep out mud, snow, etc.), an ACSS Vulcan reticle system (for quick target acquisition) and two mounting configurations (industry standard, and Glock MOS).

Primary Arms also introduced a new SLx Flip to Side mount (see it here) and 30mm and 34mm PLx scope mounts (see here).

We'd expect all these products to work their way north eventually, but at what price, and on what timeline, it's hard to say in our current COVID climate.
