Donate, And Enter Canadian University Shooting Federation Giveaway!

You might remember our write-up on the Canadian University Shooting Federation a while back... or maybe you don't (see that here). Either way, you should be happy to see that this group still running through all the trials and tribulations that Canadian firearms owners have seen over the past couple of years (see their Facebook page here). And now, you can help them out, and maybe win a new shotgun as a reward!

The Federation is currently running a giveaway where donors who put in at least a toonie (virtually speaking) into their general fund, or write an essay about the group, or refer a friend, can win a new over-under. Below, see what the CUSF has posted to social media:

Stoeger, one of our partners, has donated a Silver Pigeon for us to giveaway. Normally, our giveaways are only open to members, but this one is open to the public via any of the following 3 methods:

1: Making a donation of $2 or more at https://donorbox.org/cusf-general-fund
2: Submitting a 500 word (MAX) essay on why you support the growth of collegiate sport shooting to info@cusf.ca
3: Referring a friend to donate - their name to info@cusf.ca and once their donation is confirmed, you will be granted an additional entry

Contest excludes QC, and is open to any PAL/RPAL holder above the age of 18. This is a great opportunity to support a good cause and potentially score a big prize!

So far, the CUSF has raised less than $1,000 of its $5,000 goal, and this fundraising drive stops at the end of the month. There are only 36 donations so far, so your odds are pretty good, particularly if you refer a friend to donate and you get an extra ballot!

And hey: The CUSF is a good cause, even if you don't win the Beretta. With chapters across the country, they are offering a chance for firearms enthusiasts in universities to improve their skills, and also introducing new shooters to rifles and shotguns.
